Privacy policy
This page explains what Hostina collects when you use the service and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, optional phone number and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Security data: the IP address you signed up from, your last login time and short-lived records of recent attempts, used to stop abuse and brute-force attacks.
- Billing records: wallet funding, plan purchases and the payment reference. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored here.
- Your sites: the files and databases you upload, simple daily page-view counts for each site, and error logs from your PHP code.
- Support and reports: messages you send us and abuse reports.
How we use it
To run your account and sites, take payments, send service emails (verification, password reset, renewal reminders, support replies), protect the platform from abuse, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics on this platform.
Who else sees it
Payment providers process your payments. Our hosting provider stores the data. We may share information with authorities when the law requires it. The sites you publish are public by design.
Cookies
We use one session cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. No tracking cookies are set by the platform.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting a site removes its files, database and backups. To close your account or ask for a copy or correction of your data, contact us at info@hostina.com.
